So sorry to see such a gentleman go. Steady as they come , quiet and caring too. Plus a great book on knowledge on fishing and boat building when he opened up. Guided by Burin Island Horn and the White Point Rocks he made it home for the last time

Marion, Jeff, & Melvin , the world has lost a precious man , always so gentle & kind , the best neighbour to my mom, she so appreciated all the drives to her church with you two .. I’m thinking Lorne made the cupboards in mom’s apartment for her parents when they moved in . I remember dad saying there was no better carpenter in Burin ..
Sending prayers & Thinking of you all at this difficult time ..

Marion & Family.
In my weekly ritual of searching through the funeral home listings I discovered that Lorne had passed. My thoughts are many as I remember many happy times I shared with you and Lorne. I give thanks for his long life and the small part I was blessed to know him. Please know I think of you often and pray God’s blessing on you as you adjust to your life without him. May God’s Spirit strengthen you and give you peace. In love and prayers from Ern and I. Hugs
