Obituary of Clara Cynthia Tibbo (Rideout)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother Clara Cynthia Tibbo (Rideout) of Grand Bank at age of 77 years.
Left to mourn her loss and cherish her memories husband Bill of 57 years; 2 children Kim (Wayne) Thornhill of St. John’s and Colin (Carol) Tibbo of St. John's and adoring grandchildren Heidi, Kurtis, Kent, and William; Sister Olive (Bob) Hillier of New Brunswick; Geraldine Piercey of Fortune; sisters-in-law Ella (Alec) Noseworthy of Fortune, Patsy Russell of Grand Bank; brother-in-law Wayne (Winnie) Tibbo of Mount Pearl; special nieces and nephews and a large circle of very special friends.
Predeceased by parents Elizabeth and Edgar Rideout ; brother Frank Rideout; parents-in-law Eliza and Gordon Tibbo.
Clara was a teacher with many talents, she was an artist, poet, and she loved to sew and knit. She loved to travel especially to Florida. She could teach herself anything and loved to teach others. Anything she did was done with perfection.
In keeping with Clara’s wishes cremation has taken place.
Family will be accepting visitors at Serenity Funeral Home, Grand Bank on Saturday 7-9PM and Sunday 2-4PM and 7-9PM.
Funeral Service will be Monday at 2PM from Serenity Chapel for family and close friends.
In her memory donations may be made to United Church Cemetery, Grand Bank or flowers gratefully accepted.
