Obituary of Lloyd Anstey
Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on September 25th Lloyd Anstey of Garnish age 79 years. Leaving to mourn wife Alice ; daughters Leta Galea (Robert) of Ajax, Ontario, Valerie Pretty (Ken) of Ottawa and Angeline Legge (Wilbert) of Garnish ; 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; stepchildren Darrel Slaney of Kingston, NS, Barry Slaney (Michelle) of St. John's, James Slaney of Newport, NS, Derrick Slaney of Halifax, NS, Bonnie Edwards (Isadore) of garnish and Nancy Hannah (Kyle) of Fort Worth, Texas; sister Gloria Douglas (Steve) of Garnish plus a large circle of other family and friends. Predeceased by first wife Eliza Jane. Funeral Service took place from United Church, Garnish Tuesday, September 28th with interment following at United Church Cemetery, Garnish. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to United Church Building Fund, Garnish.
