I wish to extend my deepest sympathies to Alice and all the family. I was very sad to hear of gid's passing. It was just last month that we sat around together with him and had a great laugh reminiscing about "the good old days". Even though he was not very well at that time, he still managed to make me and my sisters laugh. That's how Gid was...so full of fun and always had a joke or some funny story about his past to put a smile on your face. He will be sadly missed especially by his beautiful daughters who loved him dearly. Sincerely, Alfreda and family

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of sorrow. We really wish we were able to make it to Uncle Gid's funeral. Know that we will be with you in spirit remembering all the good old times. Vlad is still in a state of awe over all the jokes that Uncle Gid could remember. Anyone that knew him well was aware of how he could tell one after another without a pause. There are so many memories we will cherish in our hearts forever. Love Sonya, Vlad & Nicholas Zalik
