Obituary of Shirley Ann Hepditch
It is with great sadness and much love that we say goodbye to our beloved mom, nan, great nan, sister Shirley Heptditch peaceful passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at the age of 65 of Marystown.
Shirley will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her daughters, Renesa (Arthur) of Clarenville and Agnes (David) of Marystown; son Bradley (Danielle) of Mount Pearl; grandchildren, Brehanna, Brady, Makayla, Antonio, Santana, Tyrone, Kerialee, Tyson, and Shiann; great-granddaughter, Candance; special friends, Ronald Saint, Mrs. Withers, Michelle Legge, Darryl Jackman, and Veronica Barnes; special niece, WandaLee; sisters, Eileen, Vivian, Winnie, and Belinda; brothers, Chesley, Harold, and Levi; plus a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Predeceased by her husband, Richard; parents, James and Rose Fizzard; granddaughter, Candance; parents-in-law, Tom and Alice Heptditch; sisters, Dorothy, Paulette, and Marjorie; and brother, Gary.
Shirley leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and good times. Shirley’s Tuesdays were always filled with joy as always shared a cup of tea with her nephew Noah. She eagerly attended Bingo, a pastime she cherished deeply. Her love for playing cards and scratch-offs brought her endless delight and many fond memories. She was a faithful member of her 50 plus club where she participated in many activities. She cherished her time spent with family, and spending time especially with her grandchildren.Her fun-loving and charismatic personality endeared her to many, and she was adored for her wit and straightforward nature.
In keeping with Shirley’s wishes cremation will take place.
Family only from 10AM-12PM.
Family will be receiving friends from 12-1:30PM at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin on Thursday January 2, 2025.
A celebration of life service will follow on Thursday January 2, 2025 2PM with Rev. Jeffrey Blackwood officiating service and inurnment following at Holy Trinity Anglican cemetery Hodder’s point.
In her memory donations may be made to the family.
