Pop was always the man who was the first one up in the morning, and had a days work done before you were even out of bed. He would always check your car to make sure she was in good working shape before you drove anywhere. He loved to laugh and tease the ones he loved, especially Nan he had the best berry picking spots, although he would never tell you where they were. He loved anything to do with wood, whether it was cutting it, building with it or burning it. He could make anything, fix anything, do anything, and was always there to lend a hand. If anyone ever wanted a good boat they got bill saunders to build it. He loved to have a yarn, even though we all know he had selective hearing, or listen to an old newfie song, and he could spend hours talking to his cats.  Pop was a man of few words, but we all knew how much he loved us through his actions.

In keeping with Bill's wishes cremation will be taking place.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home. “We listen, we learn, we walk with you.”
