Obituary of Blake Hillier
It is with great sadness the family of Blake Hillier announce his peacefully passing at the Health Science Center on March 8th, 2024 Blake Hillier of Creston South at the age of 23 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories Mom- Marcia (Joseph), Dad- Darryl (Laurie); Daughter- Nova-Jean; Sister- Jessica (Mikhail); Bonus siblings- Jessica (Travis), Kayla, Lorne (Sarah) and Christopher; Grandparents- Phil and Jane Baker, John and Patricia Mackey and Marie Hillier; Uncles and Aunts- Mark (Tammy), Melanie and Sherry (Mike); Nephews Jesse and Beckham; Girlfriend - Madison Rowsell plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Predeceased by Grandfather Cyril Hillier and many Aunts and Uncles.
Blake was a happy and carefree child. He excelled in school, enjoyed Cubs, Scouts and was very active in Sea Cadets. He always loved to hear about the “old days” from his Grandpa Baker. He grew into a kind and loving young man, his laugh was contagious and could always brighten your day with a hug and “I love you.” He was always willing to help in anyway he could, was very adept in computer skills, had a great love for cars, engines etc. but when he became Daddy to his darling little girl, Nova-Jean, she became the love of his life and the apple of his eye. Although their time together was short, he will live on in her, and will always be “Daddys’ little girl.” Rest easy Blake, you were and always will be loved and in our hearts.
Blake was an organ donor, he gave the gift of life through his organ donation. In his last selfless act on earth, he was able to save 3 families from heartache. His family is thankful and proud he was able to be an organ donor and that he was able to give life to many others and make a difference.
Visitation for family Moday March 18, 2024 from 2-4 and from 7-9 family will be receivings friends
Tuesday from 2-9 & Wednesday from 10am-12pm family will be receiving friends.
Funeral service on Wednesday March 20, 2024 2pm from Serenity Chapel Burin.
Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to a trust fund for his daughter Nova-Jean and sent to hilliermv@hotmail.com
