Obituary of James (Jim) Joseph Reddy
It is with great sadness that we announce that Mr. James Reddy (Jim) of Burin passed away peacefully at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre on Monday September 11, 2023 at the age of 92.
Jim is predeceased by his father Vincent Reddy and mother Margaret Macmahon and his beloved wife Harriett.
Leaving with fond and loving memories are his driving buddy nephew Jim Miles, long time friend Mary Cremin, special friends Jeanie & Julia Coombs and Janet Allan plus a large circle of other family and friends.
In keeping with Jim’s wishes cremation has taken place.
A sincere thank you to the staff of Marystown Retirement Center for the care given over the last number of years. As well a sincere thank you to the staff of Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre for their care & compassion during his recent illness.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday September 14, 2023 at 2PM from Serenity Chapel, Burin with inurnment following at St. Patrick’s RC cemetery, Penney’s Pond, Burin.
In Jim’s memory donations may be made to Burin Volunteer Fire Dept.
