Obituary of Winnie Francis Barnes
It is with great sadness the family of the late Winnie Barnes announces her passing. Winnie passed peacefully away at her home in Fortune, on Wednesday July 19th at the age of 77 years
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories. Son, Wilson of Grand Bank. Terry (Patsy) of Harbour Grace, Frank of Fortune, Bob (Cecila) of St. Johns; daughter Connie of Fortune; Grandchildren: Jamie, Bryan, Terilyn, Matthew, Dylan, Connie, Tyson, Desiree, Liam, Stef & 11 Great Grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Joe, Irene (Pasadena), Allan (Fortune) Clayton, Sharon (Fortune) Lorrie, Bernie, (Paradise) Reuben, Marylin.(Fortune) Bill, Ivy (Fortune) Mary, Kevin (Fortune) Janie, Fred, (Paradise) Jim (Winnipeg) Maguerite (Fortune) Plus a large circle of extended family and friends. Special friends, Eileen and Norma and home care worker Amada Follett plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Predeceased by Husband Frank Barnes and parents Mary and Abraham Hillier.
Visitation will take place at ALL Saints Anglican Chapel Fortune.
Visitation for family only on Thursday July 20th-2023.
Visitation for the public Friday July 21 2023. 10:00am to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
Funeral Services will take place at All Saints Anglican Church Fortune on Saturday July 22nd 2023 at 2:00pm with interment following at All Saints Anglican Cemetery Fortune.
Donations can be made in Winnie memory to All Saints Cemetery Fund, or flowers greatly appreciated.
