It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Price formerly of Harbour Breton now residing in Paradise on Sunday, July 2, 2023.
Linda peacefully passed away at the Health Science Centre surrounded by her loving family at the beautiful age of 73 after a short battle with cancer.

She also had 4 beautiful grandchildren who she absolutely adored with all her heart, Kendra Snook (Garlen), Victoria, Cameron, and Lucas. A large circle of family including 3 brothers, John (Frances) of Harbour Breton, Edward (Marie) of Lunenburg, NS, Jim (Trudy) of Harbour Breton. 2 sisters, Ruth (Bill) of Bishop Falls, Gladys (Gilbert) of Port au Port. Brother-in-law, Manuel Bungay of St. John's, Les (Mary) of Grand Bank, John (Alberta) of Winterland. Sisters-in-laws, Vera (Gord) of Grand Bank, Janice (Wayne) of Grand Bank, Betty (Larry) of Grand Bank, Wayne (Diane) of St. John's. Plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Linda was predeceased by her beloved parents, James & Adelaide Hunt; sisters, Ida and Vivian; great nephew Darian; mother and father-in-law, Edgar and Abigail Price; brother-in-laws, Reg Day and George Price; sister-in-law, Laura Trimm (Lloyd).
Linda was a wife, mother, grandmother and a favourite aunt and cherished friend to many. She was well known for her lively sense of humor and her quick witty personality that sure will be missed by all. Linda was an exceptional mom and nan to her children and grandchildren who are her pride and joy. She was a master of a good Newfie coldplate, homemade preserves, battered chicken, fish cakes, and as Lucas would say, “Nan’s mashed potatoes.” In her most recent years Rummoli with the girls was her passion. We truly believe it was more about the lunch and laugh than it was ever about the card game. She was known as “The Rummoli Queen”.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff of 4NorthA and ICU and The Health Science Center.
As per Linda’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
