Obituary of Bernadette Emily Tibbo

Please share a memory of Bernadette to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with great sadness the family of Bernadette Emily Tibbo of Frenchman’s Cove announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre on Thursday June 1st, 2023 at the age of 68 years.

Bernadette married the love of her life, Merrill Tibbo, in 1975. They resided in Frenchman’s Cove and they had two daughters, Connie & Crystal. Bernadette had three grandchildren Kayla, Jordan & Ethan, which she truly adored. She worked for years as a fisherperson along side her husband Merrill. Bernadette was proud of her PCA course, which then allowed her to work as a homecare worker and she took great delight in taking care of everyone.

She was an active member of the Garnish Lions Club until her health no longer permitted her to do so. Bernadette enjoyed a good card game with her many friends. She loved walking, dancing, a social drink, and playing Bingo. Bernadette loved her family most of all and cherished her grandchildren.
