Clifford met the love of his life in 1948 in Wandsworth where he was born and raised, and they were married two years later, started their married life in Epworth. Clifford made a living from the sea.  He spent many years as Engineer on the fishing trawlers. Then in the late 60’s he started working at the Burin Vocational School as a Boiler Engineer where he stayed until retirement. He was a man of many talents-engineer, mechanic, cook, and all-around handyman. He was the original picker before anyone knew what it was, he believed in recycling there was always a use for something. He loved spending time in the shed with his buddy Keith Inkpen and if there was a tool he had two of them. He always provided for his family and put their needs before his own. He raised 3 children and helped raise his grandchildren as his own. His forever smile and willingness to tell a story or have a yarn will be missed and never forgotten by his family and all those who knew him. Family was his most important treasure.
