I am so heartbroken Uncle Gord has passed away. When I was a young girl I spent all my summers at Aunt Cora and Uncle Gord's home, with my cousin Michelle. They were always really good to me. I will miss him always. Love you Uncle Gord and Aunt Cora.

I remember going to Uncle Gords and Aunt Cora’s often as a child with Nan & Pop, we always looked forward to our visits and both of them always made sure we never left hungry…..Uncle Gord you will be missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing you , fly high with the angels and give Pop Baker a big ol hug for me, xoxo

My condolences go out to the family of Mr Baker. He was a very quiet man and thankful . I enjoyed his company while he was a resident at Marystown Retirement Center. His love of his family was always known. I truly missed him when he left.

Michelle and family. I remember many family gatherings at Aunt Cora and Uncle Gordon's house in Bulls Cove when I was a young girl. They were always so good to me and I have many happy memories from that time. Later after getting married they welcomed Glenn and myself for the many visits we made on our visits home from away. Aunt Cora was the best cook :) Take comfort in knowing that they are together once again and are no doubt celebrating with family and friends that were there to greet him at Heavens gates. Sorry to hear of Mr .Bakers passing .I met Mr Baker at Burin Peninsula Health care Center while his darling wife was a patient there .My mom shared the same room as Mrs Baker .What a wonderful,kind,caring person Mr Baker was.I know he is happy to be with Mrs Baker now . Sincere condolences to all the family .Our thoughts and prayers are with you.Stacey Family (Joan , Bernadette and Pat) Marystown.
