Born and raised, that was me,

a Newfoundlander proud to be.

In life is shared my love and glories,

but now I’m gone, think back to stories.

just close your eyes because I am there.

I’m in the breeze for you to feel,

and in your heart to help you heal.

Remember me and time we shared,

I thank you all who loved and cared.
