Obituary of Margaret Ada Pike

Please share a memory of Margaret to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with great sadness that the family of Margaret Ada Pike announces her passing on Monday, October 25, 2021 at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre at the age of 77.

The world lost a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister on October 25, 2021. Margaret fought a long battle with Ovarian Cancer, but it never stopped her from giving love to all her family. Throughout the battle she had the most positive attitude and everyone knew her as a kind soul and who always gave the best hugs around. Margaret always worried about others more than herself. She had a tendency to ask how others were doing even when she was sick. She was very selfless in that way. She loved the daily talks she had with many of her family members and friends both close and far away, all of whom she loved very much. She was a fantastic cook as many can attest to whether she was making a cooked dinner for company or making a batch of shortbread cookies for Christmas. She took great pleasure in making others happy. Her calming voice and beautiful smile will be missed by all who knew her. She may be gone but she will never be forgotten.
