It is with great sadness the family of William Thomas Hiscock of Burin Bay announce his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on May 30th, 2021 at the age of 91 years. William known to everyone as Bill was a family man, and a kind and gentle soul. He worked at FPI for 46 years, he was caretaker of Zion United Church after his retirement and could always be counted on to have the furnace on and have the church prepared for any service. He was a choir member and served on several different church boards. He loved his grandchildren and delighted in his great grandchildren. He was a lover of all animals and loved children as they loved him as well. Bill was dedicated to the upkeep and care of Zion United Church, he took great pride in talking about the history of the church and showing everyone the beautiful craftsmanship in the building. He will be remembered for his strong faith and dedication to his family and his church. A wonderful husband and father who will forever be remembered and cherished. We will always have our memories that make us smile as we think of him. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Marion Hiscock (Foote) of 64 years; son Fraser (Yvonne) of Burin; daughter Lana Cribb (John) of St. John's; grandchildren Jacinda Roberts (Chris), Jonathan Cribb (Ashley) and Samantha Follett (Steve); great grandchidren Eleanor Follett, Jude Cribb and Margot Cribb; sisters Marion Moulton (Carl), Lillian Pike, Doris Foote, Marjorie Mithell (Tony), Kay Matthews and Judy Green (Reg); brother Arthur Hiscock (Janet) plus a large circle of other family and friends.
