Obituary of Jeff Hollett

It is with great sadness that the family of Jeff Hollett of Burin announce his sudden passing at Burin, NL on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at the age of 41 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories mother Ella of Burin; siblings Alec, Raymond, Tracey (Rene Brushett) all of Burin; nieces and nephews Michael, Jeremy, Christopher, Tessa & Reece; great nieces Alyssa, Layla, great nephew Alexander; a large circle of nieces, nephews & cousins plus a large circle of other family and friends. Predeceased by father Glenn Hollett. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Jeff he loved life. He loved spending time with nieces and nephews they were the light of his life. His pleasant personality was contagious to everyone he met He kept people rolling in laughter because he could find humor in the most mundane life circumstances. Jeff's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. In keeping with Jeff's wishes Cremation has taken place. The visitation time will on Friday, April 9, 2021 and Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 2pm-8pm. A celebration of Jeff’s life will take place at a later date when all family and friends can be together. Due to Covid 19 restrictions everyone must wear a mask, sanitize and sign in when entering the funeral home. There will be a walk thru visitation the maximum number of people in the visitation room at one time (including staff and family) should be the number that can be accommodated with physical distancing, according to the room size, but not exceed 50.
