Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, Friday, January 29, 2021, Clayton Aubrey Randell aged 69 years. Predeceased by father Rev. Samuel Bown, grandparents Stanley and Alice Randell, aunts, uncles and special friends. Leaving behind sons Darryl (Nadine),Tony (Tina) and daughter Monica(Ken), grandchildren Gerald, Darrell, Tyler and Lilah, great grandson Keegan, special partner and fiancé Winnefred, mother (Delilah), special aunt (Lillian) and brothers David, Jesse, Stanley, Charles and sister LeeAnn. Also leaving behind a large circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many, many friends and co-workers. The family would like to thank the staff at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Health Sciences Centre and St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital for their excellent care and compassion. Visitation will take place Serenity Funeral Home Burin on Sunday, January 31, 2021 from 7-9 p.m. for family only, family will be accepting visitors on Monday , February 1, 2021 & Tuesday February 2, 2021 from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at Zion United Church, Collins Cove on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 11 a.m. Clayton loved to be surrounded by family, music and engines in need of repair. He was never more happy than when he was up to his elbows helping others and he will be dearly missed. In lieu of flower donations can be given to the SPCA Burin Peninsula or Zion United Church, Collins Cove. “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give” Winston Churchill The maximum number of people permitted in the funeral home at one time is 20 people. All visitors must sign in and sign out for contact tracing purposes, and masks must be worn at all times. Hand sanitizer will be provided and is to be used upon entering and exiting the building.
