Dearest Family of Elizabeth,
My sincere condolences at this difficult time. Elizabeth found my phone number on one of Barb's cards last year and she called me here in North Dakota. I must say we had the most lovely visit which I have treasured and even more now in hearing of her passing. With my Mom Joan (Morris) Anderson moving here 1943 I regret not having the opportunity to know Elizabeth, Barb, and Phyllis better but was able to visit Barb & Elizabeth whenever I was back in St. John's. (Wish we could've gotten to Burin to meet you and family as I don't believe I ever had the opportunity to meet Elizabeth.) Forgive my ramblings but just wanted to send my sympathy on to your family. I will share something that was shared when my dad passed at an early age: "Don't let the burden of having lost them overcome the JOY of having had them." From Elizabeth's voice on our phone visit I know she was a joy to your family and all who knew her!

Tom, Scott, Bruce & Carol; We (the Taylor's) are so very sorry to hear this sad news about Elizabeth. We are sending our deepest sympathy & condolences to you all. She was always like a second mother to us & always one of Mom's best friends & will certainly be missed. We will always have our special memories of you all &, believe me, there are many fond memories over the years. We will always remember when you, Tom & Elizabeth, came to the hospital when we were just losing Dad. It was like it was meant to be to have our good friends there with us as we said our goodbyes to him. This sure meant a lot to us! I know Dad (our Angel) was also there to greet Elizabeth when she entered those pearly gates & if there is anyway, they will get a great game of cards on the go up there with many laughs. Elizabeth was always an Angel here on earth &, for sure, will continue as a special Angel in God's domain. We also know she is now contented to be with her loved ones in heaven especially with her special boy, Roger. We wish we were all able to be there for you today but circumstances did not work out that way. Until we see one another again. RIP, Elizabeth. xo
