Obituary of Gordon Brushett
It is with great sadness that the family of Gordon Winston Maxwell Brushett of Burin announces his passing at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's on June 14, 2019 at the age of 77 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories wife Evelyn (nee Francis); sister Jessie Abbott (Harvey); children Darryl Francis (Ada), Dwayne (Janice), Kimberly (Carl) and Craig (Bonnie); grandchildren Valerie (Nadine), Stephen (Beverly), Trevor (Yu), Ryan (Whitney), Skyler, Matthew, Zackary, Ethan and Emily; six great-grandchidren and a large circle of family and friends.
Predeceased by parents Douglas and Victoria Brushett, brothers Charles, Leonard and George and sister Elsie.
Gordon was a devoted volunteer in his community. His love for children was evident in his devotion to The Donald C. Jamieson Academy Breakfast Program.
Cremation has taken place.
Funeral Service will take place from Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Ship Cove on Monday June 17, 2019 at 2:00 PM with inurnment following at Anglican Cemetery, Hodder's Point, Salmonier.
