Obituary of Linda Mary Jean Douglas
It is with great sadness that the family of Linda Mary Jean Douglas of Burin announces her passing at the Health Science Center in St. John’s surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, April 23rd, 2019 at the age of 51 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is her husband Daryl Douglas of 29 years; Sons Wesley Douglas of Calgary, AB and Ryan Douglas of Burin, NL; Mother Elizabeth Nolan of Marystown; Mother-in-Law Madonna Hiscock of Burin; Brother Brian (Valerie) Nolan of Garnish; Sister Carol-Ann Nolan of Goulds; Sister Madonna (Dave) Gover of Marystown; Special Nephew and Niece Andrew (Davena) Hillier of Marystown and Kyra Hodder; Sister-in-law Charmaine, (Barry) Douglas of Corner Brook; Brother-in-Law Jimmy (Maxine) Douglas of Marystown plus a large circle of Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, Family and Friends. Special friends Kay Stapleton and Vanessa Power.
Predeceased by her baby son Daryl Douglas;
Predeceased by Grandparents Luke and Alice Nolan; Grandparents Cornelius and Elizabeth Mitchell; Her father John Patrick Nolan; Father-in-Law Wesley Douglas; Step Father-in-Law Oswald Hiscock; Sisters Ruth and Jeannie Nolan; and Brother-in-Law Sandy Collins.
Family will be accepting visitors and friends on Thursday,April 25 from 1-9Pm and Friday, April 26 from 10AM to 9PM.
Funeral Service will take place from Serenity Chapel on Saturday, April 27th at 1PM.
In keeping with Linda's wishes cremation will follow after funeral service.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.
