Obituary of Abel Clarke

It is with sadness the family of Abel Clarke of Marystown Retirement Centre formerly of Frenchman's Cove announces his death at Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at the age of  91 years.

Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of loving memories his precious wife of 67 years Anne; daughters Bonnie Susan Chadwick of Sarnia, ON, Debbie Normandin of Garnish, NL, Vicki Lynn Grandy of Garnish, NL, Rev. Robynn Toal (Eddy) of Hermitage, NL, sons David Clarke (Lynn) 0f Sarnia, ON, Gregory Clarke (Lauren) of Garnish, NL, Brian Clarke of Garnish, NL, 5 grandchildren Darrell, Lenette (Dan), Andre, Cory, Nikolas (Katie), Johnny (Tracy), 4 great-grandchildren Vann, Emma, Anjolie, Oliver and large number of nieces and nephews and special friends.

Predeceased by parents John and Susan Clarke; mother and father-in-law Jacob and Susie Tibbo; son-in-laws Terry Chadwick, Leonard Normandin, Freeman Grandy; Infant grandchild Bonnie Ernestine Grandy,  brother and sister-in-laws George (Norma) Clarke, John Sam (Edith) Clarke, Herbert (Alfreda) Clarke, Charlie Clarke; sisters and brother-in-laws Bessie (Bill) Martin, Hazel (Thomas) Pike.

Family will be accepting visitors Tuesday, February 12, 2019 from 1PM to 9PM at St. Luke's Anglican Church, Frenchman's Cove.

Funeral service will take place from St. Luke's Anglican Church, Frenchman's Cove  on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 2PM.

In keeping with Abel's wishes cremation will follow.

Donations may be made to a charity of one's choice in his memory.
