Obituary of Burdetta Gertrude Simms

It is with great sadness the family of Burdetta Gertrude Simms of Burin announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on Saturday June 9th, 2018 at the age of 86 years.

Leaving to mourn with loving and precious memories grandson Howard Beasley (Jaclyn) of Grand Prairie, Ab, great-granddaughters Madison & Hailey; nieces Sharon Antle (Edmund) of Lewin's Cove, Peggy Street (Wallace) of Lewin's Cove, nephew Clayton Butt (Lynnette) of Gander, cousins Cyril Beasley (Dianne) of Burin Bay, Marjorie Button of Old Perlican, Frank Beasley (Beckie) of London,ON  plus a large circle of other family and friends.

Predeceased by husbands Howard Beasley and Albert Simms; son Keith Beasley, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Jennie and Harry Beasley.

Family will be receiving friends on Sunday, June 10, 2018  from 7-9PM and Monday, June 11, 2018 from 2-4PM & 7-9PM.

 Funeral service to take place from Serenity Chapel Salt Pond, Burin on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 2PM with interment following at Zion United Cemetery, Collin's Cove.
