Obituary of Eugene Joseph Butler
It is with great sadness that that family announces the sudden passing of Eugene Joseph Butler of Burin at his residence on May 9th, 2018 at the age of 58 years.
Leaving to mourn wife Cynthia; parents Sarah and Owen; sons Gerard (Terrilynn) of Burin; daughters Gena Marie (special friend Tyler) of Burin; grandson Tanner; sisters Michelle Jackson (Todd) of Heart's Delight and Laura Harfitt (Rod) of Lewin's Cove; brothers Terry Butler (Kim), Wolfville, NS, John Butler (Colleen) of Grand Prairie, AB, Sandy Butler (Sandra) of Burin,brothers-in-law Stephen Wareham (Pam) of Burin and Reginald Wareham (Michelle) of Burin and mother-in-law Clotilda Wareham plus a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Predeceased by father-in-law John Douglas Wareham; grandparents John and Isabella Butler; brother-in-law Levi Harry Wareham and grandparents William and Mary Ellen Power.
Family will be accepting visitors at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin Saturday and Sunday, May 12th, 2018 from 2-9PM and May 13th, 2018 from 1-9PM.
Funeral Mass to take place from St. Patrick's RC Church, Burin on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 10:30 AM.
Interment to follow at RC Cemetery, Fox Cove.
In lieu of flowers Donations in his memory may be made to the family.

Thank you to Fr. Emmanuel Quagraine and St. Patrick’s Parish for the beautiful service and reception, to Leo Hartson for taking care of the grave site. Thank you to his friends who served as pallbearers and a special thanks to Burin Fire Department who served as an honour guard at the service. Eugene served as a member of the department for over 25 years.
