Obituary of Ernest Charles Hapgood

It is with great sadness the family of Ernest Charles Hapgood of Frenchmen's Cove announces his passing at his residence on March 4th, 2018 at the age of 80 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories wife Emily; daughters Rowena Hapgood of Grand Bank and Valarie Russell (Mike) of Grand Bank; special friend Kevin Drake (Sadie) of Frenchmen's Cove;  grandchildren Cameron Russell and Austin and Eric Hillier; sister-in-law  Rowena Crocker; Ben Grandy (Janice) of Brooks, Terry (Lesa) of Brooks and Spencer Grandy (Daphne) of Grand Bank plus a large circle of other family and friends.

Predeceased by parents John and Suzannah; sister Augusta Fitzgerald and brothers Alex and Lloyd Hapgood and sister-in-law Alberta Power.

Resting at St. Luke's Anglican Church, Frenchmen's Cove Monday at 4PM and all day Tuesday.

Funeral Service to take place from St. Luke's Anglican Church, Frenchmen's Cove on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 2PM. In keeping with Ernest's wishes cremation will follow.
