Obituary of Philip Joseph Picco
It is with great sadness that the family of Philip Picco of Mortier announces his passing at his residence, Mortier on Monday, November 13th, 2017 at the age of 86 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories wife Angela of 58 years of marriage; sons Paul (Donna) of Mortier,NL, Richard of Grand Prairie, AB, Philip Jr. (Melodie) of Victoria, BC; daughters Bridget (Peter Bartlett) of St. John's, NL, Mary (Bruce Warren) of Burin, NL, Sandra (Irwin Carpenter) of Lewisporte, NL; grandchildren Justin, Jonathan, Kelly, Emma, Tammy, John, Andrew, Leo, Daniel, Sara, step-grandchildren Nathan, Anna, Dawn, great-grandchildren Paula, Megan, Nicholas, Rebecca, Ryder, step-great-grandchildren Aiden, Owen, great-great- grandchildren Elijah; sister Imelda Zeagman of Toronto, On; brother George (Daisy) of St. John's, NL plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Predeceased by parents George & Margaret Picco, son Guy Picco, brothers Ray, Patrick, Ron; sisters Emily, Hannah, Mary.
Resting at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin Wednesday and Thursday, 10AM-9pm.
Funeral Mass to take place from St. Patrick's RC Church, Salmonier on Friday, November 17th, 2017 at 10:30 AM with interment following at Sacred Heart RC Cemetery, Fox Cove.
