Obituary of Alice Gertrude Hartson

It is with great sadness the family of Alice Hartson of Salt Pond announces her passing on November 20th, 2016 at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center at the age of 91 years. Leaving to mourn sons Pius (Jacqueline) of AB, Joseph (Theresa) of NS and Edward of AB; daughters Loretta White (Jim) of St. John's, Geraldine Walsh (Kevin) of St. John's and Adele Walsh (Gerard) of Little Bay; grandchildren Lana, Gerard, Glenn, Gina, David, Derrick, Dennis, Tanya, Collin, Aimee, Joseph, Michael, Jason, David and Jeffrey; great grandchildren Brandon, Madison, Gabriel, Jenna, Bilal, Huda, Marshall, James, Seth, Jacob, Joshua, Lauren, Claire, Courtney, Chantelle, Willow, Jacob, Jacob, Averie, Brianna and Keira plus a large circle of other family and friends. Predeceased by husband James; brothers Alphonsus, Bernard, Sylvester, Michael, Thomas, Patrick and Joseph and sisters Mary, Gertrude and Adele. Family will be accepting visitors from Serenity Funeral Home, Burin, Sunday, November 20th from 7-9pm and Monday and Tuesday from 11am to 4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place from St. Patrick's RC Church, at 10am Wednesday, November 23rd with interment following at RC Cemetery, Salt Pond. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to St. Patrick's RC Church, Burin. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Burin.
