Obituary of Henry Sr. Francis Burke

It is with great sadness that the family of Henry Burke Sr. of Little St. Lawrence announces his passing at Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on November 2, 2016 at the age of 75 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Maud; children Antony Burke of Little St. Lawrence, Henrietta Burke of Little St. Lawrence, Gertrude Ann Burke of Little St. Lawrence, Linda Moulton (John) of Cambridge,ON, Henry Burke (Elaine) of Little St. Lawrence, Margaret Rideout (Jamie) of Garnish and Paula Tarrant of Grand Bank; grandchildren Brandon Burke, Katelynn Rideout, Gavin Burke, Connor Rideout and Liam Moulton; brother John Burke (Bridget) plus a large circle of other family and friends. Predeceased by parents John and Mary Ann Burke; brother Robert Burke; sisters Theresa Coady and her husband Thomas and Melinda Turner and nephew and godson Curtis Burke. Family will be accepting visitors from St. Thomas Aquinas Church, St. Lawrence Thursday from 12-4pm family only and 4-10pm for public and Friday,from 10am to 1:30pm and 3 to 10pm and Saturday from 10am to 12pm . Vigil will take place Friday at 7pm. Funeral Mass to take place from St. Thomas Aquinas RC Church, St. Lawrence Saturday, November 5th at 2pm. In keeping with his wishes cremation will follow. In his memory Donations or flowers gratefully accepted. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Burin.
