Obituary of Marguerite Mildred Foote

It is with great sadness that the family of Marguerite Foote of Burin announces her passing at Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on Sunday November 30th at the age of 81 years. Leaving to mourn sons Gordon Francis (Donna) of Burin, Howard Francis (Ann) of Burin, Glenn Francis (Rebecca Hollett) of Bellevue, Boyd Francis, Joan of Burin, Sandy Francis (Mary) of Burin; daughters Vera (Ralph Hodder) of Marystown, Rose (Dave Hooper) of Burin, Judy (Michael Billard) of Burin, Irma (Bill Matthews) of Wareham, Joanne (Hughie Taylor) of Brooks AB, Janice (John Taylor) of Burin; 25 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren; sisters Shirley Beck and Elizabeth Drake and sister-in-law Ursula Marshall, brother Eleazer Martain plus a large circle of other family and friends. Predeceased by first husband Ernest Francis, second husband Albert Foote, daughter Sylvia Francis and grandson Rodney Hodder and great-grandson Grayson Moore. Resting at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin on Tuesday, Wednesday 10AM-12PM, 2-4PM, 7-9PM. Funeral service to take place from the St. Patrick's RC Church, Burin on Thursday December 4, 2014 at 2PM.
