It is with great appreciation that the family of Harvey Strickland of Lewin's Cove announces his passing at US Memorial Hospital, St. Lawrence on December 1, 2015 at the age of 83 years.
Leaving to mourn loving wife of 57 years Georgina; daughters Dorothy Davis (Dave) of AB and Phyllis Cotterhill (Ken) of AB; sons Sandy (Frances) of Lewin's Cove and David of Lewin's Cove; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Predeceased by 4 sisters and 5 brothers.
Resting at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin Wednesday from 7-9pm family only. Public visitation Thursday and Friday 10am to 9pm.
Funeral Service to take place from Serenity Chapel Saturday, December 5th at 2pm with interment to follow at Hope United Cemetery, Lewin's Cove.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Burin.
