I just want to say that John was a very caring, loving man. He will be missed for sure...he was always good to samantha and joshua and that will never be forgotten. Jacqui and Jordie you are always in our thoughts!!!!!

I have many great memories of John growing up, too many to post. The most memorable moments is when I was going to cut a branches to make an arch for some Christmas lights outside. All I could find to cut the branches was a hand saw. As I was walking up the Mud Lane, I stopped and chatted with John about what I was doing. He offered me a small axe. I went off to cut the branches. While doing so, the top of the axe flew off. I went to John and told him that I searched everywhere but could not find the top of the axe. He said, trying to make me feel better; " don't you worry about that, the axe was old anyway, it belonged to my father". He accidentally made me feel worse. John later found the axe top with the help of a friends metal detector.

Only met one time (on a trip home from St. Anthony) but the way that Jacqui speaks of you not hard to tell that you were a great dad.
