Alf and all of Mary's family, I cannot tell you how wonderful our trip was to Newfoundland being welcomed into the family. I will always have great memories of the time we got to spend with everyone. Mary felt like a sister right away and was so easy to talk to. Sitting around Mabel's old house and Alf taking us out in the boat for a tour are just a few great times. I felt very sad to hear Mary was ill. All my love and thoughts are with you. Love Janine

Honoring Mary's spirit, wishing you comfort and peace. Feel her presence with you today - holding your hand, drying your tears, helping you through. She was generous in life making my mother (jane) always welcome and part of the family. I feel honoured to of spent time with Mary and have such fond memories of Burin thanks to Mary and Harold. Keep the many lifelong memories that matter to your heart. Sheena Smith.

To Harold, Max, Marilyn,Percy & Robert, I was so saddened to hear of Mary's passing. Please accept my sincere condolences & also pass on my sympathies to her husband, children & grandchildren. I know that this is a very difficult time for each & every one of you. I have many fond memories of good times spent at your house when we visited Nan Foote. The loving memories of days gone by will keep her always close to your hearts & hopefully, in time, will help ease your pain.
My thoughts & prayers are with you now & always.
