It is with great sadness that the family of the late Thomas Patrick Lake of Rushoon (Formerly of St. Joseph, Placentia Bay) announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on Friday September 18th, 2015 at the age of 66 years. Leaving to mourn sons Dennis (Monica) of Rushoon, Derick of Rushoon; grandsons Nicholas and Riley; sisters Mercedes Silver of St. John's, Madonna (Dan Mulrooney) of Placentia, Martha (Jim Lake) of Rushoon, Nora (Fred Mulrooney) of Placentia, Regina (Demot Hawco) of Rushoon, Maureen (Jim Cheeseman) of Rushoon, Lynette (Pius Cheeseman) of Rushoon; brothers Gerard (Mary) of Rushoon, Henry (Mary) of St. John's, Dennis (Loretta) of St. John's, Jack (Bertha) of Jean de Bay; brothers-in-law Fred Murphy of Southern Harbour, Fred (Geraldine) Miller of St. John's, Derm (Annette) of Spruce Grove, AB; sister-in-law Margaret (John Hanrahan) of Marystown plus a wide circle of other family and friends. Predeceased by wife Marie, parents John and Elizabeth Lake; sister Beatrice Murphy; brother-in-law Tony Silver; sister-in-law Monica Lake; brother Aiden Brown; parents-in-law Alphonus and Laura Miller; brother-in-law Aubrey Miller. Resting at Christ the King RC Church, Rushoon on Saturday for family only from 4PM-10PM, Sunday and Monday 10AM - 10PM for public visitation Funeral Mass to take place from Christ the King RC Church Rushoon on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 1PM With interment following at Rushoon RC cemetery.
