Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on October 19th Dorothy Mildred Simms of Winterland age 90 years.
Leaving to mourn;
Son Fred (Marlyese) of Winterland; daughters Brenda of Winterland and Penny Kieley (Aiden) of Whitbourne; grandchildren Bryna, Jeffrey, Wesley, Daron, Jamie, Dawn, Ken and Sherrie; great grandchildren Kjirsten, Jared, Kyra, Kaleigh and Tabitha plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Predeceased by husband Herbert; 8 sisters and 3 brothers.
Cremation has taken place interment to take place from United Church Cemetery, Winterland at 2PM Saturday.
Open house to follow at her daughter Brenda's home in Winterland. All are welcome to attend and celebrate her life.
No flowers by request donations in her memory may be made to the Wish Foundation.
A Memorial Tree was planted for Dorothy
