Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on November 26th Sophie Hapgood of Frenchman's Cove age 77 years.
Leaving to mourn husband Alex; sons Rex (Sheila) of Nova Scotia and Sandy (Darlene) of BC; granddaughter Danielle; sisters Stella Hapgood, Sadie Young and Louise Balsom (Verna); brothers Gerald Tapper (Shirley) and Donald Tapper (Mary) plus a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Predeceased by parents Ambrose and Amelia Tapper.
Cremation has taken place.
Memorial Service to take place from St. Luke's Anglican Church, Frenchman's Cove, 2PM Wednesday, November 30th.
No flowers by request donations in her memory may be made to St. Luke's Anglican Church, Frenchman's Cove.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Burin.
