Dear Cousins,
The passing of my favourite aunt has left me with a very heavy heart and I can only image how you all must be feeling at this sad time. Aunt Melvie was a truly wonderful human being and one that we were very lucky to have in our lives. She knew how to laugh and how to share a funny moment with us so that we too laughed. Her sweet smile and positive attiitude will be missed. Keep the memories alive and treasure the happy times.
Love,
Edith & Warwick

Dear Ones;
Aunt Melvie will be remembered by us with deep love, with admiration for the strength in which she faced life’s challenges, and the dignity with which she met those challenges and conquered them. She was always an aunt of whom I was proud. Her kind heart, her quick wit and fantastic memory was a joy to behold. I will miss our hour-long phone calls and her telling me I was just like ‘Eva’. Our last words in December were words of love...
Dear Elaine, Donna, Heather: I know your hearts are heavy with your loss but I also know that the wonderful memories that you have of your Mom will sustain you and, in the future, will bring a smile to your faces once again. I will never forget her laughter at her 90th Birthday Party when Darren did his dance for her...
You made her life a joyful one with your children and, in turn, their children. Snuggle up in those special afghans she made for you and know that love doesn’t end with death.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
