Obituary of Alma Hobbs

Passed away at The Health Sciences Center, St. John’s on Friday July 6, 2012 Alma Hobbs of Canning’s Cove in her 63rd year. Leaving to mourn are her loving husband Lewis; daughter Kelly and Fiancee Lindbert Tucker of Bunyan’s Cove; sister Ella Penney and husband Winston of Canning’s Cove; brothers Melvin Simmonds and wife Betty of Cannings Cove, Hubert Simmonds and wife Pauline of Canning’s Cove plus a large circle of other family and friends. Pre-deceased by her parents Rosie and Albert John Simmonds, sister Stella Blundon and brother in law Oliver Blundon. Resting at St. John The Divine Anglican Church, Canning’s Cove after 11 AM on Saturday July 7. Funeral service will be officiated by Rev. Isaac Hutching’s on Monday July 9 at 2PM with internment following at St. John The Divine Anglican Church Cemetery, Canning’s Cove. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Blundon’s Funeral Home – Shoal Harbour.
