Passed peacefully away on Friday, July 27, 2012 at the Caribou Veterans' Memorial Pavillion, Thomas Gordon Cheeseman at the age of 87 years; World War II Veteran, 125 Newfoundland Squadron, RAF. Sadly missed but lovingly remembered by his three daughters Donna (Keith) Warren, Eleanor Penney and Mary (Keith) Lundrigan; seven grandchildren Krista (Bob) Wiscombe, Karla (Kyle) Strong, Karen Warren, Susan (Scott) Vere-Holloway, Tom Penney (Candice Jagoe), Tracie Lundrigan (Adam Green), Mark Lundrigan (Kimberly Kenway); seven great grandchildren Emily and Alex Wiscombe, Mason and Avery Strong, Mia Betances, Grady and Ethan Vere- Holloway; sister Eleanor (Wesley) Stoyles; brother Harvey (Susie) Cheeseman; sisters-in-law Ellie and Joan Cheeseman plus many other family and friends. Predeceased by his wife Vida in 2008. Visitation Monday, July 30th from 10AM to 9PM at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin. Funeral to take place 2PM Tuesday.July 30th,2012 from Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Burin with inurnment at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Hodder's Point, Burin. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to Ronald Macdonald House.
