Obituary of Ron Stringer

Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Monday, February 04, 2013, Ronald Stringer of Little Heart’s Ease in his 65th year. Leaving to mourn with fond memories his beloved wife Selina of 48 years; Daughters: Sheila (Mike) of Brampton, ON, Lisa (Ed) of Virgin Arm, NL., Sons: Travis (Amber) of Brampton, ON, Preston (Melanie) of Seal Cove, CBS, and Morgan (Kim) of Victoria, BC. Ron was blessed with 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Plus a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Salvation Army Church Little Hearts Ease after 7 PM on Tuesday Feb. 5. Funeral will be officiated by Rev’s Alvin and Sherry Whittle from “Go Ye Into” Ministries International, St. John’s, NL of which Ron was a ministry associate for years on Thursday Feb. 7th at 2 PM with interment following at the Untied Church Cemetery Little Hearts Ease. Special thanks as well to Major Lillian Pelley from The Salvation Army, Little Heart’s Ease and Rev. Robert Tuck from The United Church, Hodge’s Cove. Pallbearers will be: Brothers: Ralph Stringer, Alonzo Stringer and Gerald Stringer Sons: Travis Stringer, Preston Stringer and Morgan Stringer Grandsons: Andy Balsom and Joel Stringer Funeral arrangements entrusted to Blundon’s Funeral Home, Shoal Harbour.
