It is with great sadness the family of the late Charles Pike announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at the age of 85.
Leaving to mourn wife Audrey; sons Morley (Pauline) of Burin Bay Arm and Fraser (Patti) of BC; daughters Colleen Hunt (Eric) of Harbour Breton and Rosalyn (Charley) of Salmonier; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brothers George and Ben Pike; extended family Mary Miles, Sherry Kelly (Dan), Larry Miller (Genevieve), Jessie Miller, Janice Miller, Greg Miller (Donna) and Melissa Kelly; 17 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Predeceased by first wife Gertie, brother Douglas Pike and sister Greta Pike.
Visitation to take place from Serenity Funeral Home, Burin Monday and Tuesday from 2 – 9PM.
Funeral Service to take place from Bethany United Church, Burin Wednesday, February 20th at 2PM.
Donations in his memory may be made to Bethany United Church.
