It is with great sadness that the family of Lawrence Power of Epworth formerly of Corbin announces his passing at US Memorial Hospital, St. Lawrence on October 8, 2013 at the age of 98 years.
Leaving to mourn sons Joseph (Elizabeth) of Marystown, Edward (Mary) of Terrenceville, Aloysius (Maureen) of Hamilton, ON and Patrick of Epworth; daughters Emma (Robert Tibbets) of NS, Elizabeth Croft of Toronto, Carmeletta Shelbolt of NS and Ursula (Don Woodford) of Labrador City; 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Predeceased by wife Mary Theresa; daughter Joan and son Ignatius.
Resting at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin Thursday, October 10th at 7PM to 9PM and Friday 2-4PM and 7-9PM.
Funeral Mass to take place from St. Patrick's RC Church, Burin Saturday, October 12th at 10AM with interment following at RC Cemetery, Corbin.
Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to St. Theresa.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Burin.
