Passed peacefully away at the G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Monday Oct. 28, 2013 Roland Chatman of Canning’s Cove in his 91st year.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his loving wife of 67 years Daisy; sons: Leander (Yvonne) of Canning’s Cove, Leonard Russell (Debbie) of Lethbridge, Larry (Marilyn) of Botwood, Levern (Annie) of George’s Brook, Lyman (Kim) of Canning’s Cove, Lyndon (Phyllis) of Stoney Creek, ON; daughters: Lorraine Hampton (Lyman) of Canning’s Cove, Laura Chatman of St. John’s; 14 grand-children; 12 great grand-children; 3 great great grand-children; brothers Ralph and Rance Chatman plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Pre-deceased by daughter Yvonne in 1947; parents Sarah and Edward, grand-daughter Marion Russell, brother Raymond and sister Rosie.
Resting at Gospel Hall Church, Bloomfield. Funeral to take place on Thursday Oct. 31, 2013 at 2 PM with interment following at Pilgrims Faith Cemetery, Musgravetown.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Blundons Funeral Home – Shoal Harbour.
