It is with great sadness that the family of Kenneth Ralph Bennett announces his peaceful passing at the Health Sciences Centre on Thursday, February 1st, 2024 at 62.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife of 29 years, Joan; his daughter, Kendra (Tony);motherin-law Nellie Greene; brothers, Barry (Hattie), Robert (Amanda), Matthew (Panekham), and Andrew;brother and sister-in-laws, Wayne (Myrtle), Judy (Peter), and Mary (Ronald); as well as a large circle of family and friends.

Predeceased by his parents, Samual and Mildred; his brothers, Calvin and David; and his brother-in-law, Jim.

Kenny was born and raised in Port au Bras. He loved his family dearly. His daughter Kendra was his pride and joy.  He worked in Fort McMurray years ago and then later n Marystown shipyard as a pipe fitter. His most recent job was doing homecare which he enjoyed tremendously.

Kenny spent his time in the woods, or in the cove down by the beach. They were his happy places. He loved hiking, collecting fossils and rocks. Then doing the research on them. He loved the fresh air and just being outside. He was also a collector of antiques, coins and old photos. He spent many hours researching and discovering their value and origin.

Kenny will be missed by his loving wife Joan and daughter Kendra.

Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us everyday. Unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear.
