It is with great sadness the family of Peter Dimmer announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on Wednesday, October 15 at the age of 80 years.
Leaving to mourn son David Dimmer (Angie) of Kinmount, ON; daughter Denece Dimmer of Sarnia, ON; grandchildren Wyatt Matena, Owaine Matena, Kyle Dimmer, Kayla Dimmer and Shelby Dimmer; sisters Marion Bolger and Kathy Moulton; brother Reginald Dimmer plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Predeceased by his parents Herbert and Mary Dimmer; partner Ethel MacDonald; brothers Thomas, Howard, Felix and Herbert; sisters Margaret Walsh and Betty Roberts.
In keeping with Peter's wishes, cremation has taken place.
Visitation will take place Friday 2-10pm and Saturday 10am - 12pm at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin.
Funeral Mass will take place Saturday,October 18th , 1pm at St. Patrick's RC Church, Burin with inurnment following at RC Cemetery, Fox Cove.
A Memorial Tree was planted for Peter
