Obituary of Harvey Shave

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Harvey Shave of Burin announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on Sunday November 2nd at the age of 85 years. Leaving to mourn wife Belle of Winterland; son Randal (Wanda) of Alberta; grandchildren Paul Shave (Amy), Christopher Shave, Lori Mercer (Chad); great-grandchildren Ella Mercer, Jake Mercer, Sophia Petite; step-children Sharon Irwin (Brian), Susan Price, Joseph Price; step-grandchildren Robert Irwin, Jonathan Irwin, James Price, Maggie Sue Price; brother Mont Shave (Susan), Sterling Shave (Mildred), sisters Donna Lanctot (Roland), Eloise Wills: niece Heather Fitzpatrick (John); brothers-in-law Morley Dunford, John Dunford (Linda), Aubrey Dunford (Jessie), Freeman Dunford (Delores), Terry Dunford (Marilyn); sister-in-law Sharon Rudnisky; nieces and nephew plus a wide circle of other family and friends. Predeceased by parents Raymond and Beatrice Shave; special Aunt Kiddie Paul; step-mother Mary Shave; sister Greta; brother Paul ; first wife Eloise Shave. and sister-in-law Gloria Shave. Resting at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin Tuesday and Wednesday 2-4PM and7-9PM. Funeral service to take place from Zion United Church, Collins Cove Thursday, November 6th at 2PM with interment following at Zion United Cemetery, Collins Cove.
