It is with great sadness the family of Shirley Dicks of Winterland announces her passing on March 13th at Burin Peninsula Health Care Center at the age of 74 years.
Leaving to mourn husband Harold; sons Dwayne (Metchild) of BC and Dean (Leigh) of Ottawa; grandchildren Arik, Tyler and Jaymie; sister Elsie Crocker (George); mother-in-law Janet Dicks; sisters-in-law Shirley Smith (Leo), Edna Power and Angeline Anstey; brother-in-law Fred Clements plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Predeceased by parents Winnie and Ernest Anstey; father-in-law Archibald Dicks; son Daryl Dicks; granddaughter Robin Dicks; Alfred Anstey;sister-in-law Jean Clements and brother-in-law Kevin Power.
Resting at Serenity Funeral Home, Sunday, March 15th 7-9pm and Monday 1-5pm and 7-9pm.
Funeral Service to take place from Grace United Church, Winterland Tuesday, March 17th at 11am with interment following at Grace United Cemetery, Winterland.
Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to Grace United Church, Winterland.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Burin.
