It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Mary Ellen Maloney announces her passing on Thursday May 21, 2015 at G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville, at the age of 89 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband of 65 years, James; children: Ann Abbott (Clayton) of Princeton, Mary Powell (Lew) of Summerville, John Maloney (Karen) of Sweet Bay, Jim Jr. Maloney of Sweet Bay, Bertha Holloway (Gar) of Lethbridge, Pierce Maloney (Brenda) of Sweet Bay, Sheila Keats (Alvin) of Charleston, David Maloney (Sherry) of Sweet Bay, Maureen Mugford (Lester) of Whitecourt AB; 18 Grandchildren; 19 Great-grandchildren; sister: Ann Murphy of Ont; plus a large circle of other family and friends. Pre-deceased by grandsons: David Ricketts and Kirby Powell; brothers: John Thomas O'Neill, Edward O'Neill, Frederick O'Neill, sisters: Jane Conners, Margaret O' Neill and Josephine O'Neill. Resting at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, Sweet Bay after 3 PM on Friday May 22. Funeral Mass to take place on Monday May 25 at 11 AM with interment following at Roman Catholic Cemetery, Sweet Bay. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Blundons Funeral Home - Shoal Harbour.
