Passed away suddenly but peacefully on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at the Health Sciences Complex, Rose Marie Keating, aged 62 years. Predeceased by her father Augustus George Keating; sister Sandra Wiscombe; brother Jerome Keating. Leaving to mourn her son Jordan Wayne Keating of St. John’s; mother Amelia Keating of Burin; brothers and sisters: Wayne Keating (Judy) of Toronto, ON, Gus Keating (Monica) of Kelowna, BC, Barry Keating (Theresa) of Clarenville, Yvonne Hiscock (Fraser) of Burin, Brian Keating (Geraldine) of Marystown, Randy Keating (Glenda) of Burin, Wanda Shave (Todd) of Burin and Kim Ceaser (Allan) of London, ON; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Thursday from 10am-9pm. Then visitation will continue at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin, NL on Friday from 10am-9pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Parish, Burin, NL on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment to follow at The R.C. Cemetery, Salt Pond, NL. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to The Family, C/O Serenity Funeral Home, P.O. Box 429, Burin, NL A0E 1G0.
