We are deeply saddened to hear of Effie's passing. She was a beautiful loving and caring lady. I have many memories of Effie. I stayed with her and Ches when I did Grade 9 at Horwood High School in Clarenville. We had many laughs especially when she showed me how to crochet, however, I did succeed at the end. She would not give up till I knew how to do it right. Also through Effie I came to know the Jesus as my Saviour and Lord. I would stay up to her place some weekends and go to church with them. I failed many times, however, I'm still serving the Lord and I know some day I will see her and Ches again. Love you Effie.
