In Loving Memory of Jamie Cull
1979 – 2026
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Jamie Cull of Marystown. Jamie left us too soon on June 23, 2026, at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre, surrounded by the love of his family, at the age of 47. Jamie was a devoted husband, a proud father, a loving brother, uncle and a true friend. His warmth, kindness, and strength will be forever cherished by everyone who knew him.Jamie leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love and family.
He is survived by his soulmate and loving wife of 20 years, Holly Cull, and his children who were his absolute pride and joy: son Stephen Cull (11), and daughters Nickie Cull (19) and Jayme Cull (15).He will be deeply missed by his sisters, Diane (Jeff), Darlene (Paul), Judy, and Roxanne; as well as his brothers, Wayde's (Francis), Rod (Donna), Brian (Edna), Sherman (Lisa), Nathaniel (Anna), Eric (Cathy) and Terry. Jamie also leaves to mourn his parents-in-law, Wanda and Steve Hooper; his sister-in-law, Lacie Hooper (Philip); his nephews, Lucas, Jackson, and Anthony; his nieces, Isabella and Caroline; and a large, extended circle of cherished relatives and lifelong friends.
He is now reunited in eternal peace with his beloved parents, John and Amelia Cull.
A devoted husband, a proud father, a loving brother, uncle, and friend. Your guiding light, strength, and love will remain forever in our hearts.
Family and friends are invited to gather to share memories, support one another, and celebrate Jamie's life at Serenity Funeral Home, 95 Main Street, Burin, on Friday, June 26, 2026. Public Viewing: 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM
A Celebration of Life Service : 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM:
The funeral service will take place directly after the visitation in the Serenity Chapel, officiated by Pastor Boyd Stansford.In keeping with Jamie's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no graveside service.
The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to the dedicated ER and medical staff at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre. Special thanks to Dr. Paula Slaney for being a light in our darkest moments. A special and heartfelt thank you goes to Ferne Oake and Tracy Whittle—your exceptional care, endless support, and gentle compassion brought immense comfort to Jamie and his family during this difficult time.
